Holiday Club Account: The Holiday Club Account allows members to save money for holiday expenses or year-end taxes. This special purpose account accumulates throughout the year. On November 1st the funds are either transferred to checking, savings or mailed to the member (at special request after the transfer).

Home Equity Line of Credit: This multi-purpose loan option allows homeowners the opportunity to borrow at very competitive rates (no minimum rate) and gain valuable tax benefits (interest may be tax deductible; check with tax consultant for details). Advances can be made by writing a convenience check, accessing through the internet, going to a retail branch, or calling the contact center/retail branch for an advance. Members can make advances for up to 10 years and can take up to 15 years to repay. The variable interest rate is adjusted monthly throughout the life of the loan. HE lines of credit are not available to Texas residents. Credit approval required.

Home Equity Loan: This multi-purpose loan option allows homeowners the opportunity to borrow at very competitive fixed rates and gain valuable tax benefits. Unlike the Home Equity Line of Credit, this loan is intended for a one-time advance. It cannot be accessed continually. Once the loan is disbursed, the rate remains fixed for the term of the loan. In most cases, members can deduct their home equity interest at tax time. You should check with their tax preparer for tax deductibility details. Credit approval required.

Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA): A regulation that requires financial institutions and mortgage companies to collect data on applicants for residential dwelling related credits.

Home Owners Insurance: An insurance policy that covers such things as fire, theft, and other damage to a dwelling.

HUD: A U.S. government agency established to implement certain federal housing and community development programs. This federal agency attempts to assure decent, safe, and sanitary housing for all Americans, and investigates complaints of discrimination in housing.
