OVERDRAFT PROTECTION ON ATM, EVERYDAY DEBIT CARD AND COMMUNITYAMERICA ONLINE BILL PAY TRANSACTIONS

Effective August 15, 2010: Government regulations require you to 'opt-in' or agree to the terms and conditions of the overdraft protection service on ATM, everyday debit card transactions and CommunityAmerica online bill pay transactions.

WHY HAVE OVERDRAFT PROTECTION?*
Overdraft protection is when we pay for a transaction you make, even when there isn't enough money in your checking account. Basically, we're giving you the benefit of the doubt and allowing you to overdraw your account.

If you answered YES to any of these questions, then you may want to consider opting in. If you don't use the service, then it doesn't cost you anything, and it gives you peace of mind in case you do need it. If you do use the service, the fee is $25 per overdraft paid. For more information on CommunityAmerica's overdraft policy, see the reverse side. For more information on CommunityAmerica's overdraft policy, CLICK HERE.

*Overdraft coverage may extend to checks, ACH, debit card, bill payment, telephone transfers between accounts and cash withdrawals. We pay your items in anticipation that you will repay the overdraft immediately. If not repaid within 30 days, overdraft privilege will be suspended. Payment of overdraft items is discretionary. Your account will be evaluated based upon age of account, account history, deposit activity, overdraft instances and account status to determine if it is financially sound to honor your overdraft items. In order to be eligible for this privilege, the account must be in good standing and have a positive deposit history.
